  • ONSTAGE REHEARSALS — SHOW DAY, DECEMBER 19 (Required for all Show Participants)

    Date: December 19, 2026 (Saturday)

    Schedule:
    • 11:45 AM - Older Group (Ages 14-17y.o.): Bella, Liza, Deanna, Kayla, Kseniya
    • 12:15 PM - Kids group (Ages 5–10 y.o.): Alexandra, Jolina, Briela, Gregory, Savanna, Elizabeth, Anya W., Anna B., Masha, Nadia
    • 1:00 PM - Middle Group (Ages 11–13 y.o.): Milana, Nick, Brielle, Rebekah, Emily, Sofia, Makena, Tatiana
    • 1:45 PM - Youngest group + Band + Final Song (Ages 5-6 y.o.): Eliza, Daniel
  • GENERAL REHEARSAL — DECEMBER 18 (Required for all Show Participants)

  • GROUP REHEARSALS (Only for Group Performances)
    Date: November 21, December 5, and December 12 (Saturdays)

  • BONUS EVENT: AFTER-SHOW KARAOKE PARTY!
    All Winter Show and December 4 recital participants are invited to celebrate at the Academy on Saturday, December 19, from 6:30–8:00 PM!
    • We’ll sing, spend time with friends, and celebrate our students’ hard work together.
  • First-time MAoM show performers will typically participate in group performances with featured solo parts. Students interested in performing an individual solo song may also choose to participate in a separate, smaller recital on December 4, 2026.
  • Youngest Performers’ Group students (ages 3–7) may participate in group performances at the December 19 Winter Show and also perform an individual solo at the December 4 recital at no additional charge for the recital, or choose just one event. Your child’s teacher will help you select the best fit. Individual solos in the Winter Show are assigned by the teaching team based on readiness and available program time.
  • Individual solo songs in the Winter Show are assigned by the teaching team based on performance readiness, participation in other numbers, and available program time. First-time performers who are ready may also be considered. Registration and previous show participation do not guarantee an individual solo slot.
    Our goal is to give each student a meaningful performance opportunity that supports their growth and confidence.
  • PREPARING FOR THE SHOW
    We want every student to feel confident and comfortable on stage. Consistent practice at home and attendance at the applicable rehearsals are important parts of that preparation.
    November 9–15: Students will demonstrate their assigned material from memory during their regular lessons, including musical parts, lyrics, and any choreography already taught.
    November 21: Group performers will complete their final readiness check at rehearsal. Students performing only individual solos will complete their final check during a regular lesson on or before November 21.
    Teachers will provide feedback and guidance where additional preparation is needed. These deadlines apply to material provided in advance; any newly assigned or revised material will have a separate preparation timeline.
    If a student is not ready, we will contact the family to discuss concerns and next steps. The teaching team may adjust a student’s role or determine that participation in a particular number or the show is not appropriate at that time. Please review the preparation, attendance, and refund terms in the registration form before registering.

All recital participants are invited to a complimentary karaoke party at the Academy on Saturday, December 19, from 6:30–8:00 PM! Join fellow Academy students to celebrate your hard work, sing your favorite songs, and enjoy a fun evening with friends.
I grant Modern Academy of Music permission to use photos and videos of me / my child for promotional purposes, including but not limited to brochures, calendars, flyers, videos, websites, and social media, provided that no identifying name or other personal information of the student is disclosed.

  • COMPLIMENTARY FAMILY TICKETS
    Each participating family will receive two complimentary audience tickets to the Winter Show. These are provided per family, regardless of the number of children participating.
